"The Hare" has sped ahead and disappeared over the first hill. So what are we waiting for? Let’s get going, "Tortoise"! Overcome Your Doubt There are two main areas of doubt that you will deal with. The first is knowing how the system makes trades. This is easy for me to solve. All I have to do is tell you my system... Right? What? You don't think I will tell you? In the title bar under "Training" I tell you how the system makes trades. There, I bet you didn't think I would reveal it. The next area of doubt is in how well the system works. I can tell this is important to some people by the number of hits I get on my Track Record. You may think that having a great track record is all you need to help people overcome their doubt. You would think with a good track record people would sign up right away. Don't be surprised, but a good track record does not help many people believe in a system. I have posted my Track Record, but posting my trades is not likely to get you into this race. It wouldn’t impress me if I were looking at your track record, no matter how good it is. Why? Because it is history! I have been trading futures since 1979 and have bought trading systems. I have tested them myself and low and behold, as soon as I started to actually trade the system, guess what? It didn’t work. Even some of my own systems that worked on paper lost money when I actually traded them. There are many reasons why this happens, but I will not discuss them now. It just happens. Do a word search in Yahoo! for trading systems and you will find a lot of systems for sale or you can just buy the trade signals. I am not implying that all systems or trade signals for sale do not work. What I realize is that my trading service has to be different. I have to get you to believe in it. Let’s go back to our Fable. Slow but steady wins the race. Even if every trade in my track record was real time trades, it is still not what you need to see to get into the race. You need to see it happen for yourself. How much success will convince you? I don’t know. So let's go slow and steady and do this... You will have several options in signing up. The first option is free trial trades. I will send you my trades through e-mail as they happen, as if you are getting my service. Trade them if you like. Watch to see if they really work. Just don’t fall asleep. My system only trades on average about 17 trades a year. That is a rather slow pace for futures. It will be hard to stay awake. But remember, we are the "Tortoise" in this race. You may skip the free trial period and just sign up. Are you open minded and able to see the potential right away? Great! Your cost will be less if you skip the free trades. It didn’t take much work to convince you. Are you skeptical about trading systems? Do you ask, "Why are you selling your trades if they are so good?" You have been convinced that prices in a market are really a "random walk", or there isn’t a mechanical system that can make money year after year. Let's compromise. You can have a cake and eat it too. I have a trial period that you can have for a small price. Seeing a few trades work may be all it takes to convince you this is going to work. The choice is yours.
