There is a wide spread conception that trading futures is a fast
pace, high risk speculation that can quickly take your money,
"The Hare". Investing in stocks, mutual funds or bonds is a sure
way to get to the finish line.... slow growth, moderate or low
risk, buy and hold strategy... slow and steady, "The Tortoise".
There is a subtle flaw in the application of the wisdom in this
fable!
People view investing in stocks, etc. as very different than trading
futures. Although some people trade stocks on a short term basis
or even day trade, investors and many brokers will tell you to
buy and hold an investment and wait for it to go up. This thinking
often creates a passive approach to investing. Buy a stock and
forget about it for a year or more. This is not my view of the
Tortoise.
The Tortoise is constantly moving, patient, and persistent. He
keeps his eye on the finish line and does not get distracted.
He is disciplined and confident, and stays focused on his task.
The trading system you are going to read about will keep you active
in the market. You should look at this program as a business activity
that can increase your income, with a small amount of working
capital, by 10's of thousands of dollars each year. It will take
